The e-Government National Centre currently has a workforce of more than 400 staff including a wide variety of technical teams with many years of experiences in the field of IT Project Management, IT Operations and IT Service Management. BSDC is a software development facility to develop “Made in Brunei” software solutions and assist with the skills development of the local IT ecosystem. It was officially launched in December. The facility is funded by the e-Government National Centre (EGNC) and managed by Microsoft.
Previous Engagement
ICT Youth Development Program (ICT YDP) is a collaboration project by E – Government National Centre as main organizer, Jabatan Perancangan Kemajuan Ekonomi (JPKE), Authority for Info-Communications Technology Industry (AITI), and Agensi Pekerjaan Tempatan dan Pembangunan Tenaga Kerja (APTK). ICT YDP was created as an alternative education channel for any enthusiast youth towards ICT development and opportunities specifically school leavers in Negara Brunei Darussalam.
A certification programme which is designed to enhance the digital literacy knowledge of civil servants of Negara Brunei Darussalam by providing standardized and relevant trainings on the ICT usage and prove their knowledge with globally ratified certifications to build an efficient and a confident government workforce.
